>>106114681 (OP)>trying this shitthe US 4th amendment is explicit against unlawful searches.
This has been extended to searches without cause.
The goal of the new exercise isn't to "find you" - they don't need your ID to find you, never did (see: ICE raids), what they do need is a concrete library of IDs they can reference, without cause, at any time.
No, they can't use the existing DMV records because that counts as without cause. By having these records directly attached to internet access, it immediately becomes with cause due to a lack of regulation (yes, even in 2025). If they try to link it to actual IDs specifically it gets tossed in every court of law.
>b-but you have nothing to hid-Doesn't matter, having this library available to the stupid retards working in government relies on blind faith that they follow the laws that they write themselves (they don't) and that they're acting in my best interest/the interest of society at large (they're not, the only interest they're acting in is their own, the track record is embarrassing at this point - these are the same fucking bottom feeders that are trying to get a soapbox up for legalese in a tech forum to convince the tech crowd that they should take it up the ass, literally trying to convince people to work against their own best interest with their own tax dollars)
Fuck the CIA, fuck the FBI, fuck every alphabet soup agency, fuck langley, fuck elgin, hope all you glow in the dark ass pieces of shit get defunded for even trying this.
