There is nothing wrong with NVIDIA exploiting gamers for everything they can get out of them. Every wafer used for a gamer GPU could have been a server GPU instead that would sell for 5-10 times more. NVIDIA is doing you a favor by selling you a gamer GPU at bargain prices.

They haven't removed anything from the old control panel, they've only added additional things to the Nvidia app.

But the control panel hasn't been degraded in what it can do.

You can still change settings using the profile inspector application but knowing they are too retarded or lazy to look that up their willing to spend money to fix things for them.
