troonix with all its flaws at least treats you like a competent adult, I enjoy using it more and don't have many issues with it.
I would say I prefer using windows over mac too.
Also apple not letting you replace hardware after it dies is horrible too, that's why the only mac I have at home now is one of the older models where you can still swap the disk, etc.

i got a chromebook for free and threw this together but the audio doesn't work even with that script everyone uses and it does this weird thing when you close the lid where it sits in this limbo where it's kind-of-shut-down-but-not-really and after opening the lid several times it just reboots into the bootloader or whatever. also the keyboard is retarded and isn't integrated out of the box plus there's no pgup/pgdown keys or Del and you can't adjust the brightness even by fucking with the values in /sys/class, its either 100% or 0%. so i'm wasting it. thanks for reading my blog and don't buy a chromebook, shit is not worth the hassle.
