kek there's no way this economy is real
bitch is working like a grand total of 3 hours a day between all the snacks and smalltalk and gossiping and getting paid like in the 90th percentile for that
I'm mad not because I want a boring soulesss job like this or because she's more successful than me, I'm mad that everyone is somehow ok with this and that it's an infinite rat race to the top
get to the top 1% and you can spit on the bottom 99% scum, it's just that easy bro as long as you are some patrick bateman type of shit schizoid manipulator narcissist or something
what's even funnies is that the execs are like getting 100x her wage while doing even less

Here's what mine looks like
>Clock in at 9
>Coffee, breakfast and cig break with the guys till 10
>The hellish morning meeting where I have to listen to a fat chick rambling till 10:30 (hopefully) or 11 if I'm unlucky
>I mute the sound so I just pretend I'm listening
>If someone needs me they will ping
>I just can't stand her
>11:30 second cig and coffee break till 12.
>I deserve it for going through this hellish meeting
>12-1 I leave vscode open and pretend I am working while listening to mustic
>1-2 Lunch break followed by coffee and cig break
>2-3:30 Pretend I am working again. Browse the internet in my laptop screen while the main screen has vscode open
>3:30-4:00 final cig and coffee break
>4-5 Mark every single email read without reading it. Commit some bullshit to appear as I have been working all day
>5 Clock out

Cope, women will always have a job because they produce nuclear-grade gossip which causes infighting and prevents unionization
Not to mention men will perform better to attract their favor
They are also assuredly going to turn right around and feed their paycheck right back into the machine
Women are an incredible investment for any company of decent size

Why would you be stupid enough to post this? If you happen to have a pie job, then hide it and hope no one figures it out. This is begging to get canned, and also to screw over your fellow employees who will end up losing all those perks. Imagine the board meeting after one of them sees this online.

I work at MSFT (from Redmond) and the indian teams are so fucking bad. Like straight up retarded engineers who even a PM can code circles around. Our org is shifting more and more of the critical services to them too, so all those outages you see in the news are recently caused by stupid fucking infra changes that the indian teams do. I can count on one hand the number of competent engineers from the india office I have worked with over the past 10 years (all the good ones moved to Redmond already anyway).

I worked there in seattle around 15 years ago. We primarily wrote the .NET AD security stuff.
There was about 300 of us, I was the only non-indian, except our manager was a white dude that came in with a suit and tie and sat at the front.
I always looked for test results and feedback from testing on code that I wrote and fixed it. Everyone else always waited to be assigned the bug.
We lived in these dorm-like apartments, usually 4 or 5 to a single place, but I was lucky I got housed with a chinese guy and we were the only 2 in our apt. He didn’t work in my group though, but he told me he was the only non-indian guy in his group, too.
We couldn’t be direct MS employees because of some legal incident/judgement against MS so we were actually contractors in this thin shell company, but essentially we worked for MS.
My impression was that most of the “white” or non-indian “developers” that interacted with the public were “face men” and didn’t really know or do any coding although we’d get questions from them and they’d re-write our responses.
This was at least 15 years ago, no idea what it’s like now.

Might as well post mine
>Leave apartment at 8:30
>Arrive at office for 9:15
>Set up laptop to external hub and immediately head back out to grab breakfast
>Come back to office around 9:30 and turn on PC
>Eat breakfast, watch youtube on iPad, and skim through emails until 10:15
>Do actual work until 12:00
>Return from lunch at 13:00
>Work, take calls, the occasional drop in meeting until 16:00
>slowly start winding down and adding notes for when I pick things up the following day
>leave around 16:20-16:30 every day

Funny thing is I'm usually the first person at the office in the mornings, with most people not coming in until 10/10:30

I get why anons don't like this, but is it really new? 500 years ago they would have been indentured servants to some nobleman. They would have been babysat by a housekeeper (HR witch) and a butler (managerial social climber). They would have lived in their employer's house and had every aspect of their lives contractually controlled (adult daycare). In exchange, they would do chores like polishing the silver or ironing the linen (aesthetically pleasing busywork). Some would end up spinsters (karen-track), others would marry another servant (normie-track) and a lucky few would marry above their station (gold-digger track).
Silicon Valley techno-feudalism has to hide behind a liberal ideology, but it's rewards, incentives and social contracts are just like the pre-modern world. No doubt they will need more private security as law and order breaks down around them (lords always need retainers). They will also continue to need programmers (priests and scribes) even in the face of LLMs, because LLMs replicate human mistakes from their training data, and retraining takes longer than CVE discovery so security will continue to demand a human in the loop. If you understand the social dynamics at play here you can easily position your family to take advantage of the future, no matter how bleak it is.

I do artisanship and physical labour and ride my bicycle everywhere and I eat relatively little though I always ate less than most people around me but even when I look at extremely buff guys that only do physical labour I can't even think of one bloke that eats as much as the people makign these videos and no one ever comments on that either.

Most devs only do ~2 hours of active work a day, with the rest being meetings and bs.

Btw that are the people that Musk fired when he took over Twitter.
70-80% in tech companies are absolutely useless but shareholders won't care as long as the revenue comes in.

5.30am. Wake up, contemplate suicide.
5.45am. Out of bed. Coffee. Cig. Contemplate life choices.
6.00am. Check mail. Answer mail.
7.00am. Go to college to teach classes some days. The other days, code or read/write.
10.00am. Analize current projects. Code if needed. Comunicate with other humans working in the same projects.
12.00pm. Cook for the family. Eat.
1.00pm. Masturbation.
1.15pm. Work in current projects. Prepare classes or grade projects. Think about how 99% of the students are useless, and so how useless is the time I invest in them. Code if needed.
4.00pm. Smoke some tobacco and weed split. Reach 15 seconds of futile and illusory happiness.
4.30pm. Look for the kids at shool.
6.00pm. Stare into the abyss. Contemplate suicide again. Realize I can't even suicide.
7.00pm. Prepare dinner for the kids. Start heavy drinking. Smoke.
8.00pm. Check mail. Answer mail. Smoke some more. Intensify drinking. Smoke.
9.00pm. Contemplate suicide one final time for the day. Take some benzodiazepines.
10.00pm. Bed time. Fuck the wife or suck her breasts.
10.05pm. Sleep.
Repeat.

listen, i have no problem... well i do, but this is not even relevant to the point ... with women working at microsoft, i have problem with microsoft doing 0 and i mean 0 positive changes to the OS in the past 15 years. Even Windows 10, is just Windows 7 with a different theme. Windows 11 has basically no advantages over Win 10 and even today when the official support window for Windows 10 is just 2 months, I would still install it on a new PC over Windows 11.

Yea, they employee browns and women... but surelly they must also somehow be able to make a working OS, right? When fucking Linux is starting to eat your gaming market it means that for the past 15 years they have done nothing.

my point is that, surelly if this woman does or does not go to work we can see a result in the quality of the product right? If I were to fire 90% of Microsoft, will Windows improve? If you were to fire some people in society everyone will notice: that bus driver that picks you to work quits? YOU WILL NOTICE! Doctor decides that work is shit? YOU WILL NOTICE ... and die.
But if you fire that woman, nothing ever happens.

if you fire her, will there be any change for Microsoft's end products' quality? This is the only quaestiion i want to know. I already gave you a comparison with a bus driver or a doctor and honestly by my logic it is obvious that a bus driver should earn 5 times more than her.
