What is a good headset?
what I need is very good audio and decent mic (I usually use a Bird UM1 and the kraken V3 apparently has something similar, but all my Razer stuff has been shit that breaks easily)

So far I found :
- Logitech G PRO X : 75€
- HyperX cloud 3 : 75€
- HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 : 40€
- Corsair HS55 WIRELESS CORE : 80€
- Razer BlackShark V2 X : 50€

qcy H3 pro you can get on Ali for 35€
works wired over 3.5 or type c
then get this mic as well https://a.aliexpress.com/_ExYIxDG , just plug it in. mic quality is good everything else is overpriced.

you will have a great wired headset that can work wirelessly, has good ANC and EQs wery well.
ldac and hifi certifications too.

I just bought a Sony WH-ULT900N. I don't know anything about it, it just felt the most comfortable on my head of the ones I tried on at Best Buy that wasn't over $200.

Are these good for gaming, movies, and ambient/pop/classical music enjoyment?

I’m sensitive to weight and hotspots and already tried sony mdr-1am2 which still felt heavy and fatiguing due to their non-existent clamp and small pads but I loved their sound signature. I would stay with my bose qc35ii but their total lack of directionality makes them unusable for shooter games

the only correct answer in this thread
if you spend any more then you should only be worrying about comfort and definitely not buying a microphone attachment

>decent mic
what does this mean?
you just don't want to sound crunchy on call of duty or you want to be a ``streamer''?

If you're willing to spend more maybe go for Beyerdynamic MMX 300/330? I have a pair and they're great but better move fast since they got bought by chinks so expect the quality to drop of a cliff soon.

I’m not risking tinnitus. I’m open to in-ears as long as they’re made by sony, apple, or some other household brand.
