I got assigned one for work at least I don't have to be worried about finding an electric outlet for 8 hours straight. Their wifi is good and the air models are very light. Depends on what you're looking for. Emulating on Mac is quite good so you could say that the library of good games is almost infinite in that regard. There's also some high profile native releases like the newest Assassin's Creed, Cyberpunk 2077, Dead Island 2 etc, but your options will of course be more limited than on a PC or a dedicated game console. If you're into popular goyslop like Call of Duty, Fortnite, PUBG and so forth you might be out of luck. I don't know about those however since I'm a single player kind of guy myself.

When it comes to something like Cyberpunk 2077 I'm actually really positively surprised how playable the game is on my M1 Pro MacBook and how silent and cool the laptop runs in clamshell mode. Newer M-SoCs are more power-hungry so maybe that's not a thing anymore with the newer machines.
