Kimi and Deepseek will get there eventually since they actually have roleplay and personality as their focus but claudecucks will forever suck off that model because it's genuinely easy to use. Claude has a bunch of problems that can't be prompted out but the things it does well are things done automatically. The newer models are harder to use because you need to tell them every little thing and then they might take it too far because your instructions are too rigid. Either we get better at prompting so we can get what we want out of them or the open source models need to figure out a way to make them easier for our usecase.
