>built in adblocker on every platform (including ishit)
>stable, fast, no compatibility issues (it just werks)

Anyone still using brave after manifest v3 is retarded.

But those things allow it to be "free". Would you pay a monthly subscription for a browser? Most people wouldn't.

Developing a browser isn't something anyone is doing for free, and even if some people do it, it can't be anything of quality

why is their built in adblocker so shit? i get you can install ublock on it anyway, which fixes it, but why would they not just copy ublock into the browser

>built in adblocker
It's based on blocklists, it can't catch scripts and ads before loading the sites because it's chromium. This garbage isn't even as good as ublock origin lite.
>stable,
It's just chrome with a skin.
>fast,
Chrome with a fucking skin. A quick and dirty one at that.
>no compatibility issues (it just werks)
As opposed to what? Not being compatible with html files? Get a real job, you astroturfing retard. You make this fucking thread every day.

Brave sure as fuck is, the interface is highly untouched. They embedded some shitty add-ons with much better alternatives elsewhere, changed the logos and called it a day, while adding a shitload of bloat.
There is no use case for your scamware.

You "turn off" telemetry in almost every software. Doesn't mean it's actually disabled and phoning home.

I trust that other nerds who actually know about code have read the source code.
As long as I don't see any ads on my screen I'm content.
Also never gonna buy anything that I see on ads.

>When the best browser already comes with your OS

Microsoft learnt their lesson from the Internet Explorer days. It's interface is sometimes annoying, but all browsers except Furryware just use the same .dll files as Edge does.

Brave is based on Chrome so it now uses Manifest V3 which means all privacy extensions other than the ones Brave maintains are all broken. Brave also spies on you. It's basically spyware.
