yes, some people have some pain points under some conditions. the vast majority haven't noticed a single thing. The only real issue is the lack of... physx? or whatever the hell it was for some old-ass games like mirror's edge and borderlands – in the unlikely case one of those is your favorite game ever that you replay thrice a year then you might want to avoid the 5090. in every other circumstance you'll be fine.

That being said, 5090 is kinda garbage. Hot, loud, guzzles power like mad for little performance uplift. I'd rather keep 4090 until we get 6000 series unless I needed it for a workstation.
