I think one of the turbos or schnells. But desu chroma is relatively fast and as I said before, you can zoom around seeds at 2.5 cfg, 10 steps and then pump it up when you find something good. The chroma speed tricks bring up too much of the scuff into the image.

No, it's not. There's no magic that makes q8 like fp16 while fp8 is not, both q8 and fp8 are the same sizes.

The only thing that makes a difference here is in the strategy of quantization, the reason q8 looked better than standard float8 is because they quantizized smaller parts of the model network less to make sure it still had impact and wasn't lost with the loss of precision, the exact thing is done with fp8 scaled.

Can you use the qwen text encoder in other models or it doesn't work?

So in other words, q8 and float8 scaled are the same quality.

Now if you have gguf installed there's no reason not to keep using q8, but if you don't have it installed, float8 scaled is natively supported in Comfy, meaning you get the same quality without having to install the gguf third party node

The model is completely trash in my initial tests, doesn't recognize Takehiko Inoue either. The Tanjiro/DBZ stuff seems like they tailored it to very Reddit niche, but didn't actually train on the stuff at all, just like bait and switch. I prompted for Hana Uzaki it also does not know her at all. This model seems no different from every other model we've had so far. Now to test mediums, hopefully I'm not disappointed.
