Usually what it comes down to is "where do I want the plot to go?" for SFW and "what fetishes do I want?" for NSFW. I personally respond in third person, but do whatever works for you.

They aren't really; the LLM has an idea of where it wants things to go already, but any new elements you introduce in your response has the potential to drastically change the course of the story.

Sonnet 4 is a pain to use. A bit more creative with dialogues than 3.7, but very reluctant to change tonally. 3.7 is incredibly friendly and versatile. 4nnet needs more handholding.
