Wouldn't an internet id just cause people to stop using the internet and go back to talking to each other irl?
I mean I know there's the Chinese that have to use an internet id, but would people even be willing to be controlled as the chinese bugmen? I just don't think so.

No, the modern hedonistic consoomer will just complain and go back to cooming. Another massive problem is companies misrepresenting the law through malicious compliance.

No, the damage is done. Internet and social media have fundamentally changed how human relationships work. People are getting addicted to the new toy (AI), and they're over-dependent on the internet.
