If Altman really had an exceptional ground breaking technology it would never be shown to the public and sold to normalfags as a couple of bucks subscription. It would be immediately sold to government agencies for literal trillions as it was always done throughout the history and maybe a decade later it would be dumbed down and repackaged for public sales

>Artificial General Intelligence
There isn't enough power on the planet to run actual general intelligence.
The current predictive AI isn't even good. It requires taking in massive amounts of data and using massive amounts of resources to output something that's only probably right.
Without the ability to determine answers with 100% accuracy, the thing is just a chatbot on steroids, and a waste of people's efforts.
The whole god damn AI sector needs to re-evaluate what it's doing.

some of the mediumweight chinese models are pretty premo and can run very efficiently, but OAI is basically in a death spiral trying to harvest as much investment money as possible before they collapse

you can't
it's a bubble all right, but when you control everything you control the bubbles as well
all major shareholders are majorly invested in AI
therefore they will demand the use of AI everywhere, even if it underperforms and reduces the quality
the result is the consumer will pay the price, but it's not like he has any other options
this ain't a free market kid

Shorting is a capital intensive method o investment. You can't predict when the bubble will burst. Bubbles can last for decades your capital aint gonna last that long for shorting

GPT 4 is a cucked, woke, non functional piece of shit. It's image generator will shit out one bad/boring attempt even if you're a promptlord and if you ask you to try again from scratch it will shit out nearly the exact same image with a phoned in variation, try it.
I once asked it to make a median image from 4 pics of the roasties from the tea app hack and it said no because that was insensitive even though all I sent was the images without context.
It has never given me working code for something as simple as manipulating emotes on a vidchat site with easy as fuck javascript and css customization fields at the ready.
It refuses to acknowledge the crimes of niggers.
Why the fuck would I care about a 5th generation of that dna. Grok is killing it by comparison.
