the state of the internet is grim
>everything is trying to track / spy on you 24/7
>wars being waged on vpns
>wars being waged on adblockers
>real id looks like its going to rear its head in europe/US as well
>mass amounts of actual and attempted censorship occurring to stem access to free information
>trying to use an even remotely privatized setup leads to friction in daily usage and having to accept major inconvenient trade-offs / like getting cucked by half the internet either blocking vpn usage or slapping you with the cloudflare humiliation ritual over and over and over and over and over
anyone else thinking about going data hoarder mode and then pissing off permanently (or even a few years)? it feels like soon we'll reach a level where the annoyance of using the internet will be greater than the return for anything other than actual work purposes.
