I2P is an alternative. TOR is an alternative to an extent but it has its flaws. Other than that, normal non website services like FTP servers and IRC chats still exist as such, so we're limited to 3 options in a sense, accept the changes and dox ourselves, data hoard and utilize the alternatives mentioned here, or like you say yourself, go into the real world and start spending more time there.
