Just get good
I started as a helpdesk, got bored of manual helpdesking so moved to automating my job away then told my boss and he moved me to cloud stuff.
I was always hardware autistic so being the one person there that actually enjoys hardware I get to redo racks and set up autistic little servers.
Having rack space in an air conditioned server room that I can throw stuff in whenever I want is so based.
In short, get good at it, learn quick and impress people with how much shit you can do.

Worse. Minimum wage laws means nobody wants to invest into training someone with no experience, because they would have to pay the same wage to someone with experience.

i have projects i enjoy, problem is i struggle with entering optimal mental flow states, which makes my overall progress very inconsistent. i have discovered medication that helps, but even then it's a case of blocking out distractions and interruptions, which isn't always possible.

Go to a top 10 university, network, grind jeetcode - although that's being phased out in favor of uni and work history.

You went to a lesser school, worked at a mediocre company, or otherwise messed up? Grad school from the same 10-15 programs and/or move to SF, NYC, or Chicago. Austin and Raleigh to a lesser extent.

Tech has the most basic, well understood and straightforward career path there is. You spend a month studying for certs for a couple hundo, you get a tech support / helpdesk role so you can prove you can solve problems at the beginner level, then work your way up With promotions and pay increase within MONTHS.

This is so fucking trivial, and yet you still have morons who think they deserve a senior level role right off the bat because they did HALF of what every entry level applicant did in their portfolio.

Op is an actual moron, what the fuck. He has an inflated sense of ego, can't talk to people without sperging out, refuses jobs he can actually get while complaining about unemployment. Tis is learned helplessness

If you're not averse to cybersecurity and boring shit, try looking at L1 SOC. Should be less client interaction compared to L1 support, and you could move to network and sysadmin stuff once you has some actual experience.
Unless you're really good there's no actual shortcut. Whatever your dunning-kruger ass thinks you know shit's gonna be a different mess in actual corporate environment

>you want money? become a plumber
We have the BLS statistics. It's only really the business owner making money. A small fraction of the hourly rate you pay the plumber to go out goes into his pocket. You're spending 10 years to cap out at like $70k unless you start a successful business.

Being a teacher would be better in terms of pay and WLB compared to most trades.

It was quite easy for me. I started off as a technician and then kept moving up through internal positions because the work was piss easy. Then once I had a good background I would get better offers elsewhere so I took those.

I got my first IT job with no network or qualifications back in 2018. Just apply to smaller companies that are actually growing instead of stagnating. Here in my country, they still train people up if they think they are actually going to retain them.

You get one by starting at that
It’s like you asking me how to get into a class of jobs without doing the entry
Well if you really want an answer then build projects in a niche and get to know the community and then apply your skills irl and find companies that need you
Become your own employer and have only contact be from there on with recruiters and the teams you get put in
It’s a grind but also very possible
