The problem with SFF builds is that you're payin x1.5 the amount for the same performance as normal equivalents.

I mean, don't get me started on SFX/L PSU's, especially after these dumbfuck tarrifs. Like hell am I going to spend $200 on something half-decent.

They're also loud and hot as fuck. I would suggest sticking with ATX PSU's in conjunction with cases that can accomodate a decent-sized CPU cooler. That should really narrow down your selection.

Like, right now, just what application do you think even benefitted from the past decades worth of computing advances that's not AI or gaming?

I got the t40 case which can fit a sfx psu and a decent cpu cooler, I'm going from micro atx to mini itx, hopefully components will be smaller next upgrade, clunky cases are disgusting, it's not the 80s anymore

Usually these cases are designed to vent the gpu directly out of the case

If they can make gaming laptops, they should be able to do custom GPUs, or use literally the same ones, to sell a class of ultra SFF prebuilds with 5080s
