now I'm not a tech expert but how come the battery LED knows when its low but the software doesn't? I assume and hope my battery LED thing is correct at least, I used it for 3 days without it dying, then just now charged to 100% to try and get the software to show the battery correctly, it was stuck at 60% for the entire 3 days for me, god such fucking scuffed shit I can't believe the quality for what you pay

the techpowerup review said this
"but since the Pro X Superlight 2 lacks a fuel gauge IC, the numbers given tend to be rather inaccurate and unreliable. For instance, after charging the mouse to 99%, turning the mouse off and on resulted in the indicator showing 60% charge, despite the measured current clearly proving that the battery was fully charged. For the record, after two hours of use at 8000 Hz, the indicator stood at 89%, so the battery life predictions appear to be largely correct."

it must be missing something because I had a deathadder v3 pro which showed the battery % perfectly every time more or less, until it broke...

I do not understand wireless gaming mice at all, they’re objectively worse in every single way except for not having a cable.
But a proper light mouse has a proper light cable you never even notice anyway.

This costs less than half as much, it’s lighter even with the cable, and has no issues with latency like everything wireless does.
How much that latency matters is up to your actual uses. I absolutely feel that shit with every wireless mouse I’ve tried, I can’t stand it.
Plenty of products fit into this category too, of just light wired mice that are inexpensive.

>>106184426 (OP)
I took apart my g303 and the plastic literally snapped from separation, even with all the screws removed. It was 2x clicking in less than a year. Logitech rma'd it but i though i'd swap the switches until above happened. I guess we're at the point where the only thing that matters to zoomies is the mouse being the lowest weight possible to were the plastic can just snap from opening.

my g9x's have those weight cases, it's pretty fun to mess around with different amounts and see how they feel. Just a lost relic I guess, it's strange too because I actually can't stand overly light mice for mobas or mmo's and found the most comfortable long grinds to be a deathadder. Maybe zoomies just only play fps games and the lack of weight matters there? I don't know honestly, just feels like something thats only cared about (mostly) due to marketing and it being an easy thing to see on a marketing page, just like frequency graphs for audio

Guess back in the day weigh was also synonymous with quality going all the way from ball mouses.
Cheap mouses had just cheap plastic ball while expensive ones had metal or some high density plastics with rubber outer shell making mouse heavy.
I'm still using G400 and people in comments where omg how comes it so heavy.

at least for me it's pretty much back to that point. After seeing how think and poorly made the plastic on my g303shroud was i'm done with anything thats this horribly made. I have two deathadders with 2x right clicks, 1 with a broken scroll wheel, two dead g602's and a bunch of logitech trash around. It's actually tiresome. But my g403 lasted 7 years of daily use before it experienced any issues aside from sides degrading which is nice i guess

You get a light that blinks when it's at sub 20% batteries. Not like it fucking matters anyway since you just plug it in for 30 minutes and you're good for 1+ week of usage.
Also I'm not sure if you're aware but you don't need to install any bloatware for the superlight series.
Get the Onboard Memory Manager standalone .exe and run that to set your dpi and polling rate ONCE then never touch it again.
Anonymous No.106190900 >>106190921

I like using the software because it has dpi switching for certain games, so, for example in CS 2, whenevr I tab out to desktop it goes back to 800 dpi, but tab back in and it instantly swaps it to 1600, I like that so I think I'll keep using it

as for the battery % though, I changed the cable, reinstalled the software, cycled on/off the mouse, charged to 100%, I am now monitoring it as it goes down to see if its accurate or not, fingers crossed I guess, also at 97% currently lol

it does charge suspiciously fast though?

batteries of all chemistries have very well understood performance curves.
it's quite simple to measure the instantaneous voltage and current then use the known performance curve and required voltage to calculate the remaining useful power left.
