I've been using Firefox for decades and never encountered this. I don't know that I can WOMM any harder, anon. What OS, what version of Firefox, what extensions are you using, is it a recent or recurring error etc.?

Seriously, unironically consider unaliving and self-deleting, zoomie.

Its the "Remove Adblock Thing" tampermonkey script, but without it I genuinely have no idea how to get around ads since Ublock gets detected by the adblock prevention thing youtube has now

You should've started with that. The thing is that if it's a controlled roll-out on YouTube's part, I can't do anything, as I haven't experienced it. But in case it's not, make sure your anti-adblock pop-up isn't cause by another extension. For example, BlockTube's audio normalization option triggers it.

I do have some custom uBlock filters enabled, but I added them for safe-keeping as I never encountered the issues. Still, maybe they can help, I'll try to copy-paste them from the archive hopefully it won't break the formatting:

Experimental filters to help combat issues

For users who still see anti adblock occasionally, adding this custom filter might help:

! Warning: This will break push notifications
www.youtube.com##+js(set, yt.config_.EXPERIMENT_FLAGS.service_worker_enabled, false)

For slowly loading YouTube, TEST these filters:

www.youtube.com##+js(nano-stb, resolve(1), *, 0.001)
www.youtube.com##+js(set, yt.config_.EXPERIMENT_FLAGS.web_enable_ab_rsp_cl, false)
www.youtube.com##+js(set, yt.config_.EXPERIMENT_FLAGS.ab_pl_man, false)

Also, the push notifications warning might not be true, as I have the filters enabled and still see notifications. Maybe it just delays them? Still, I left the warning as it was there in the original post.

It doesn't, you're just too fucking stupid to update your scripts.

Why use Brave when you could use Vivaldi?
