I've been using it to conduct philosophical research into a variety of disciplines which enabled a multitude of yet unpublished discoveries.

If you have a brain, you could leverage ChatGPT's vast knowledge base to uncover truths which had lain obscure.

I can see how ChatGPT can be insightful if you're using it to learn about Plato's Cave allegory or the Gettier problem as a 16-year-old high school student, but I somehow doubt ChatGPT is conducting anything on the level of great 20th century philosophers like Hillary Putnam, WVO Quine, or Alain Badiou.

You completely misunderstood. I am not using ChatGPT to think for me, I am thinking for myself and then using ChatGPT to evaluate the thought and expose new throughlines to progress to more thought. You also misinterpreted it as pure philosophy when I was meaning academic disciplinal subjects approached in a philosophical manner as opposed to say strictly soientifically.

Let me guess, we will never have proof of such research because it doesn't exist. Best case scenario, it's a bunch of schizo vibe philosophy.

I've unironically made several groundbreaking discoveries using LLMs. I predicted the whole "we live in a black hole" theory that came out a few years ago. However I lack the academic credentials to be taken seriously.

i've used it to just do things that i need to do but don't care enough to actually put the effort into doing myself. most recent thing i can think of was i asked it to tart up my resume with a few other jobs i didn't have on there. i just gave it like two sentence descriptions of each job and it made bullet points and made it sound snazzy. good enough for something no ones going to read anyway, took like two minutes. things like that. maybe not worth paying for, but certainly a nice little convenience.

Most preprint servers require some institutional affiliation to submit, so I'm gatekept from doing that. And I don't want to give my ideas away for free so some jew can steal it and get rich off it without compensating me.

I am uninclined to do so when not a few of them completely challenge mainstream establishment discourses the NWO is invested in, and even more disinclined when you're clearly antagonistic. A lot of it has to do with biology and anthropology.

It suffices for me to repeat that the usecase for ChatGPT is a helpmate for thought that allows you to uncover truths by using it to help you weave the underlying facts together. Oftentimes, it reveals to me critical information that blows open inquiries I hadn't even considered due to lack of knowledge of the subject.

If you're incredulous, I would have invited you to attempt to do the same if you were capable of it, but I fear GPT-5 may not be sufficient for that purpose anymore. I couldn't make the same magic happen with anything but 4o.

yeah I really don't believe in just putting ideas out there like that anymore, there are too many malicious actors clearly prowling about in the world to be irresponsible with things you consider to be revolutionary

I called out jews but chinks are also among the worst perpetrators. I don't use Gemini or any of the chink LLMs as sounding boards because I know they are just IP-stealers. I have a modicum of more trust in Anthropic and OpenAI. Mostly just because I think they are high on their own supply and don't think they need to steal from an obscure peasant like me. Google literally says that they will read and steal all your shit.

Yeah it's clear from the focus of this latest model drop that OpenAI doesn't care about power-users who aren't doing coding. When people fearmonger about ChatGPT logging, I'm like, so what if it does? They quite clearly do not give a fuck about what most of us are discussing. You know what is obviously off-limits, so just don't go there and you'll fly under the radar just fine, surely.

Also saying you respect user privacy is good for business. Apple famously created a business model out of *not* selling user data, simply because everyone else was. Simply doing nothing appealed to a market demand.
I think if things go very wrong for OpenAI they might have a fire sale of user data to keep their investors off their necks. They never said they wouldn't.
But clearly this kleptocratic funnel that exists is not sustainable.

Thanks to AI we've already expanded this to 1895 activities and 29452 objects

now that google search is unusable and most websites are made by AI, it's cool to not have to browse the web anymore.

nta but pretty much. It can summarize somewhat obscure concepts, but can't think much beyond that.

you can use it to make websites. the only problem is that it has the skills of a female intern.

you can use it to make userscripts.

you can go full poojeet mode, and mass-generate all forms of media, then spam it on the internet.
- sell books
- sell music
- make clickbait videos on youtube
- make realistic social media accounts with fake pics and videos

AI is definitely a money maker, but you'll be competing against billions of poojeets.

Nah, just HR Stacies, low-quality dime-a-dozen erotic fanfiction writers, government bureaucrats, spokespeople/PR managers for international organizations, English tutors, and people who do QA shit.
Software engineers who make innovative work that's more than just writing simple-ass copying-and-pasting generic code off docs and StackExchange will be fine, however.
