You could make playlists and play the tracks in order. It wasn't a terribly good user experience because you had to memorize which playlist contained the track you were looking for and it's rough position in the playlist.

I'll stick with my chink mp3 player. I can load up a 128GB microSD card and play whatever. Just drag and drop the folders and I'm ready to go.
