Sorry to hear that your right headphone stopped working. Let's go through some troubleshooting steps to try and fix the issue.

Here are some things you can try:

* **Check the connection**: Make sure the headphone is properly connected to your device. Try plugging it in again or switching to a different audio port.
* **Clean the headphone**: Dirt, dust, or debris might be blocking the sound. Use a soft cloth or a cotton swab to gently clean the headphone's speakers and ports.
* **Check for damage**: Inspect the headphone's cord or cable for any signs of damage, such as cuts or frays. If you find any damage, you might need to replace the cord or the headphone itself.
* **Try a different device**: Connect the headphone to a different device, such as a phone or a computer, to see if the issue is with the headphone or the original device.
* **Check the headphone's settings**: If you're using a computer or a phone, check the audio settings to make sure the headphone is selected as the default output device.
* **Reset the headphone**: If your headphone has a reset button, try pressing it to reset the device.

If none of these steps work, it's possible that there's a hardware issue with the headphone, and you might need to contact the manufacturer or consider replacing it.

Can you tell me more about your headphone, such as the brand and model? And what was happening when it stopped working (e.g., was it in the middle of a call or playing music)?

>he fell for cheap chinkshit/gaymerware
I got 4yo picrel with snapped off microphone from a call center for free and after using it for over a year both speakers sound as clear as they did the day I got them while all other headphones/earphones starts malfunctioning after few months.

Can people hear what you're listening to? Are they uncomfortable to wear? I was using an old model steel series by the way

Even with a pair that works this could be useful if you don't mind using them as a speaker for a different sort of sound or to take a break and relieve pressure over your head. Just let them lean on your shoulders/neck and don't listen to anything strange unless you live alone

I've used those office model headphones before too, they're not too uncomfortable unless they have a weird shape on the ear part, the sound usually is "tolerable" at best. Just get a pair of cheap Sony headphones from Walmart they're like 20 bucks or something and I've been using the same pair since 2022. That is if you don't want any audiomaxxed gear

If they're that important, cut the plug and expose the plug terminals. Solder the wires back in their place and apply epoxy glue on top to make it more resistant
If it still doesn't work must be the ear plug itself where you can repeat the same process although it's more difficult.
Those 2 are the most common causes, if the speaker broke or the the cable got cut halfway you can always replace them but it would be easier to just buy a new pair at that point

I forgot, after peeling the plastic cover from the cables you need to burn the colored resin and perl that too. Otherwise they'll never naje contact with the plug or the speaker.
It gets broken there because the welding is the weakest part and people yank the plug to disconnect it or the speaker from their ears too hard
