I dunno I still have to google how to do stuff with mac. For example, I have a fagbook pro and ipad, I use the ipad as my 2nd screen but using sidecar isn't very intuitive at all. It has numerous bugs and if something doesn't work it will do everything but tell you why it's not working. This is just an example but at least in Linux you can just tell chatgpt to figure it out from the logs. With macos or windows good fucking luck. I still daily windows at home, but my work computers are using Ubuntu. Fagbook pro only because the product is good even though the OS isn't really.

Is it scary this is (almost) relatable to me? Sometimes I just don't fucking feel like tinkering or troubleshooting with something so I do a really shitty job and then fix it to be right later. Like a prerequisite to doing it correctly.

I'm working on this behavior to do it right the first time. I wish I didn't unironically have to be in the mood to do projects and could just get it over with

I’ve seen this posted and honestly this isn’t as low effort as it seems - you have to read and understand the context surrounding each of those structures to know what you can/should const, and there were probably hundreds more where it was not appropriate. Can you tell me whether each of the structs noted in those commits is safe to const?

I'm afraid it is low effort. GCC/clang started reporting when there was a const mismatch and better reporting of when your const was being misapplied. All she's done is crank the warnings up, add const to everything to silence the warnings then removed any that then in turn caused a compile error in stuff she wasn't willing to patch. Most people just ignore the const warnings, people with nothing better to do add const and real programmers understand that const in C doesn't mean what you think it means so 99.99% of the time you can change a const and have no consequences so if some CV padding bint wants to waste time, so be it.

The reason you can gpt your solutions from the logs is less to do with the openness and configurability of linux letting you do anything, it's that bugs and problems requiring workarounds are so commonplace that openai had shitloads of near identical forum posts to train for "why my 2nd monitor is fagballs on 'buntu". Macos is more of a "you shouldn't have a problem, but if you do no way will you fix it with a google result."
Macs used to have all sorts of "bugs" and "problems" back when the OS was unprotected. Any retard would download some GUI customisation tool that monkey patched system files and then proceed to bitch about how "crap" his new Canon scanner or HP printer was, never thinking that it was those fancy animated icons and window color changers. Then OS X got so locked down even root can't change system files and all kernel extensions had to be signed. Suddenly a whole lot of "bugs" stopped happening. And now we don't even have system extensions so all those "this fagshit kernel panics all the fucking time" slowed down. Yes, your out of date virtualbox system extension was crashing your photoshop.
