So far I haven't found any other distribution that just works and stays out of my way and that I can trust.
Yes I use Debian stable on my desktop machines.

Is this the non free firmware version?
Anonymous No.106206296
>>106206119
They include non-free firmware by default since Debian 12.
You still have to tick non-free driver in Calamares.

Cool but I switched to Devuan recently after the recent drama and was using the testing branch this whole time anyway.

Is anyone else experiencing longer boot times than in 12? After upgrading, it takes me nearly two minutes to get to the login screen compared to around 40 seconds before upgrading.

sometimes the issue is only with grub, though doubt it in this case. But checkout your system with any distro live medium. You might be able to save it. Worst case scenario it'll give you access to your files so you can back them up before fresh installing.
Anonymous No.106206877
When 12 was released, were there issue discovered in the first months after release that needed to be patched? I'm trying to decided is I should wait a while before installing 13.

BBC Thug De'vuan Tyrese
yeah... the choice is easy if you're not a faggot. somehow, large scale enterprises have no problem running red hat or obunga pro with systemd but you do. your os is not your personality, son.

wtf you on about?
Fedora is the EXACT opposite of Debian
It has all the newest packages and gets upgraded every six months.
Debian has all the oldest packages and gets upgraded every 5 years.

Fedora is managed by a corp, Red hat, and is literally the testing ground for their corp OS.
Debian is a non profit, volunteer based org.

How exactly are they "the same shit"?

Adults have ceded control of just about all narratives to kiddults.
It has to stop.
