>cpu
I don't. I'm not even familiar enough with AMD parts to know how recent that is, but I don't need to. Basically any CPU is fine nowadays. I have an 8th gen Intel chip and feel no need to upgrade it.
>monitor
I do. My main monitor is 32" 4K, my secondary is 27" 1440p, and I'm looking to upgrade to something with good HDR soon.
People seriously underspend on their monitors. It's the thing you're going to actually be staring at for hours on end, it should be your priority.
>case
I guess not. My current case is nicer than that, and I'm considering SFF for my next build, but it's hidden away under my desk anyway. As long as your ventilation is decent, it's fine.
>mouse
Definitely not, that's the exact mouse I'm currently using.
They do break after a couple years though (buttons start double clicking) so you have to treat them as semi-disposable. They're cheap enough for that to be okay.
>controller
I do, because I play some 2D games and the 360 dpad was utter dogshit. If you play only 3D then it's fine.
>keyboard
I do. I currently use a full-size wired Apple board and thinking about a low-profile TKL mechanical to replace it.
