Laptops are worst of all. Shitty keyboard and/or screen. Virtually no upgrade paths, overpriced, overheats and most failure prone of all. I've never used a laptop on a lap either and most people I've talked ever neither do that. Not even talking about the health concerns of doing that, it's plainly uncomfortable and non-ergonomic. Most people don't even use their laptops without power outlet. These points confirm that portable for most means easy to move. At that point there is no reason not to have mini pc, tenkeyless keyboard, portable display instead of a shitty laptop that will have some stupid failure in 2 years. It is literally better at everything and more comfortable to use. From the day I first seen and tried laptop keyboard even the ones before chicklet nonsense I knew it's for fucking niggers. All of them are unusable to me.

I built my ITX because I knew I could, none of the whiney "oh it's too difficult to work in" bullshit. And I get rewarded with a shoe-box sized PC that's easy to bring abroad, takes up minimal space on my desk, and is whisper quiet. No one is forcing you to build it, unless you can't and you're experiencing sour grapes.
