It still doesn't make sense. Iphone is far more complicated to use than android (samsung in my case). For example to change the audio quality and compression format for apple music, you can't actually do anything in the app itself. You have to navigate to iPhone settings, apps and then find Music and do it from there. So you have this weird discrepancy between the app itself and the app settings in the iPhone settings having different settings. Completely unintuitive. I consider myself competent when it comes to tech but with this iPhone I've had do Google how to do basic things because barely anything is where you expect it to be.

This iPhone experience was enlightening for me desu. I fully expected to get all the same features as my 5 year old Samsung but with an Apple twist. You really don't know what you are talking about. It has nothing to really do with physics. It has everything to do with chemistry. The batteries are made of chemicals and they are affected by a lot of variables, the environment, the way the device is stored, the items used to charge it. Which wires, which charging wall sockets etc. There's just way too many factors. It's almost next to impossible to find information about the chemical composition of the batteries in every device. That's why what you're saying is not true. Someone could have the most expensive phone, but be using the worst charging methods which would degrade the battery compared to somebody having a very cheap phone, but using the proper methods of charging it. Therefore, the battery would last longer in the device that's being charged properly and stored properly. You just need to understand what you're talking about and the fact that you think it has stuff to do with physics just shows you have no idea about simple science.

Curious about it, I looked up a few reviews of their Phone (3) and (3a)/Pro, they sound interesting and the reviewers seem mostly happy with them, though with some caveats. Have any of you had any experience with the those models and what are your thoughts on them?

I have never used their phones, but I have been solidly impressed with their ear buds. The nothing Ear (3) 's I have are pretty decent value for the money. They have a more balanced less bass heavy profile than other wireless buds in the same price range ( like the beats, or pixel buds, or samsungs offering). The Application UI is clean, simple, and just works well to set up Eq's. If their phones are built to the same level of detail and value I think they would be okay.

Why don't phones have a feature that allows them to be connected to a charger but not necessarily charging the battery? At least half of the time, you don't need your phone to run on battery power, you more often than not have the possibility to get that power from a socket. This means that we can effectively increase battery life by a lot. Has no one thought of this before?

I can get a brand new iphone 13 pro or an iphone 15 for the same price. Which is the better choice? the 120 hz display apparently it's a big difference, even if you don't play any games, and camera quality seems roughly the same.
