The white man's CPU
A monolithic die just like a pure aryan soul
Not a mutt interbred monster like those chiplet designs
And designed by american white men.

Jokes aside, I found recently that Maya 3d had an issue with AMD CPU, it just raised a memory error during unwrapping, they fixed it in a newer version, but it's fucking ridiculous

Its fairly impressive for what it is since its way faster than even the original 10-core 7900x skylake chip. Its also proof of intel's bullshittery since they kept saying that 4-cores was enough for the longest time and gave us an affordable 10-core within 3.5 years of ryzen hitting the market

I was about to say, the Core line was done in Israel while Itanium was the PNW team doing its thing
The PNW teams had PNW codenames like β€œKlamath” while the Israeli teams had biblical codenames like β€œNehalem”

Rocket was done by Intel India afaik
Not sure about Cometlake but probably Intel Haifa

they don't make silicon in India, they failed to produce 10nm chips they had to switch back to the old 14nm die. that's why it failed so miserably

I was wondering how long it would be before an Intelaviv damage control thread would show up.
Remarkably, it's even more pathetic than I thought it would be - and keep in mind just how low my expectations are from Incels these days.

Rocket Lake is desktop version of Cyprus Cove and was designed in Israel. Pajeets probably cleaned some toilets so they're technically part of the team or something.

The original sunny cove core was made in Haifa, yes. Intel India likely only ported the complete core floor plan with 14nm libraries into RTL code and put it together into an SoC, debugged it and finally binned it.
But the end result is pretty bad and makes you wonder whether if things could have been different if it was done by Intel Israel/USA.

I don't think poos were involved in any technical capacity at all (except maybe software side) because the result wasn't actually that bad, only the price was. Rocket Lake has aged much better than 10900K and even 5800X which were its competition. There's only so much you can do when you have increased transistor count yet don't have the node to fabricate it. 11900K has a large die and that too with just 8 cores.

Everything from Dothan to Nehalem to Lion Cove was designed by Jews. If that pleases your Aryan soul then so be it.

>. Rocket Lake has aged much better
Its high IPC is thanks to the original team that made Sunny Cove, aka Intel Israel.
The problem with RKL is that it was hugely power inefficient (like, -20% efficiency vs CML) and overclocked to the moon when it had a vf curve that's way worse than 10th gen.
And bad RTL code can cause such inefficiency as we have seen from Samsung and Qualcomm using the same arm core on the same Samsung process node but Qualcomm's came out to be 20% more efficient and also having better sustained performance due to a better implementation by their engineers.

>The problem with RKL is that it was hugely power inefficient
It wasn't if you consider that it has almost a billion more transistors compared to CML.
>overclocked to the moon when it had a vf curve that's way worse than 10th gen
The vf curves are very very much similar if not identical between 11900K and 10900K and both are max 5.3 Ghz. I have both of them and that's how I know. In the end, power consumption doesn't even matter much on desktop, only performance matters. You're arguing about ~$30 worth of a difference in power per year.

>I don't think poos were involved in any technical capacity at all
Bruh, that's just your own prejudice/bias. I've worked in a semicon job before and there are LOTS of indians debugging RTL code.
>>106235071
RKL was garbage because it uses like 50% more power per core than cometlake and isn't anywhere near 50% faster per core. Not to mention, later batches of 11th gen often needed 1.6-1.7v for the 5.3ghz boost and 1.4v for the all core 4.9ghz boost while 10900Ks only needed 1.53v for 5.3ghz and under 1.2v for 4.9ghz.
