>And he himself has so much money that he could probably employ everyone in an entire US state full time and still have more money than a normal person would ever know what to do with
this is pretty much dumb.
considering all that he's now worth, which is nowhere close to the cash he'd have access to if he would stop doing anything and try to take out all the possible money, like have it in his bank account, accessible to him to use, that would still come out at around $1000 for each american, and then he'd be left with absolutely nothing, in the most ideal but unrealistic scenario.
in reality he'd probably be able to split to $100-$200 at most, for each american.
and even if we consider your brainrot, there's studies, old ones, showing clearly that if humans get more than certain sum, their productivity decreases. thus what happens now is corporations edging that maximum productivity line on most people. which is pretty simple to determine, considering costs, what you need to survive, rent, food, clothes, slop services you pay each month, they give you just about being able to pay what you like, but no more, and barely, so you get that "fuck, must go to work" motivator, which makes you work. anything more and your productivity decreases, less gain from everyone, less power overall, other nations start stepping on your neck and take shit from you on the global stage.
it all comes down to what you are willing to work for for max productivity, which isn't a lot apparently.
data you feed to all your shit apps is used to determine this line finer and finer so they know how to get you in your most productive state.
