How come no one agrees with me that high-speed Internet was a bad thing? Everyone has nostalgia for so many aspects of older technology except this, and I don't get it. Part of the reason things have gotten so bad now is strictly because of how fast data is served to us.

thats a good point, the attention span now with everything so fast is a big problem, moreover it made the bloat that plagues the web viable. i think that the quality of many places would improve too with low speed connections, people would think more before wasting time and bandwidth.

I agree with you, anon. Data was in the past valuable. Every Byte had meaning. But today we live in the age of data hoarding, where people store Terabytes of stuff on their harddrives. Dead material without any meaning.

You're retarded. Until last year I had 10/1 internet, could barely hit 1Mbps downloading. Now I have gigabit and it is infinitely better.
