I have an 86TB redundant storage array with thousands of movies and hundreds of shows and I never watch any of it

Get a second one for raid 1 and proceed to add important shit and leverage it to store steam games I want off my main machine that I can move to my game driver later without waiting for steam servers. I say make 5 key directories and add stuff there and then decide in 6 months if you need to prune

Shows aren't worth the space.
Movies only those worth watching with others, half a TB is enough for that.
Fill it with books, texts, website snapshots and guides.
If you want an easy way to burn the space fast, games. A lot of games these days are 150 GB or more, so easy filling.

I already have all the stuff I actually want to store and it only takes up about 500gb: a fairly small collection of choice films, anime, and Iron Chef Japan.

I had kids or a super normie wife maybe I would need more space to store all the dogshit that disney and hollywood has put out in the last 20 years. Most things that I download I watch once and delete because I know I'm seriously never going to care to watch it again.

I'm currently filling my 16TB with all the retro game consoles and arcade systems ever released up to the PS2.
The rest is going to be useful programs, personal files, lossless music (all less than 2TB)
Then the rest of the space is going to be for TV Shows/Anime and Movies. (This is the part where I run out of space and have to buy another drive)
