I used my ipad pro heavily while in college when I was about to be living out of my car in the streets.

>easier/more convenient to charge with a car charger than a laptop; compatible with a lot more battery banks than laptops are
>easier to use in tight spaces like in a car
>kept all my school books/study material in one device
>I could keep a notepad open right next to study material
>can write directly on books/study material while preserving orignal material
>can remote desktop to a Windows VPS and essentially turn my ipad into a Windows PC when needed for labs
>microphones were good enough for recording lectures
>Got cellular model for redundancy to my phone's hotspot mode because the universe hates me and constantly throws curve balls at me as hard as it can

if you're in school and/or homeless it's great. now I that I am not in school anymore or about to be homeless it's just a glorified youtube watcher

You use it for what?
I use mine for inflight navigation and general info. At home I play lots of gacha garbage games on it. Blue Archive has the best soundtrack I've heard yet on one of these games.
Other than that I don't see much use for it. Entering anything on it is a chore. Navigating websites is a chore. Multitasking is a chore. Their multiwindow implementation, stagelight or whatever is a complete joke.
Organizing icons on the desktop is one of the most broken experiences I've ever had on a mobile device. Whoever designed it should be raped to death by zombie jobs.
