Hi, im a normie.
I want to install linux distro but i dont really know what would be the advantages of it.
I pretty much only want to install it to feel like lain.
I have basic knowledge of python tho

Arch is what I personally settled on after a few months during the distro-hopping phase of my to Windows to Linux transition. It's the only one that didn't shit itself when installing NVIDIA drivers. It's simple, has easy to read documentation, and it has the AUR.

Endeavouros is pretty much the best experience you're gonna get since it has aur going for it, which imo is better than flatpaks or ubuntu/debian repositories.

Control over almost everything you've got. You probably won't need any Windows exclusive apps(there are barely any).
