If windows restarts for an update while you're using a VPN, would your IP be exposed during the restart? At the same time, if you had a torrent client open would it be likely to still be running while the VPN closes?

The VPN shuts down before it starts on the updates, so your IP would be leaked. So what? it's just windows updates. If you're that much of a schizo try Linux.

I do have a kill switch, I was just wondering if it would even worked in this instance because of the potential for the VPN to have closed during shutdown. It's a system level kill switch so hopefully it worked.
