The fun part about Windows tinkering is that they might change whatever you tinkered with at any time, forcing you to re-tinker it, or even making your tweak impossible. Plus solutions tend to be incredibly hacky and often rely on dubious random tools. Truly the paradise of the Promethean/Sisyphean tinkertranny.
>>106244707 >What for? LTSC will keep getting Defender updates till 2032.
yeah, and by that time there'll be a usable version of windows 11 iot ltsc as well

I don't even know how many times I've had to fix issues with my audio interface and game app bar or whatever that shit was called that keeps crashing all games. I've had to tamper registry files, run powershell commands, alter some obscure files deep in windows structure, tried to change settings and what not. And when I get it working the next update makes everything worse again and old fixes won't help.
I don't care, I will simply keep Windows 10 forever. It just werks, and it always will just werk. >b-but my updates
ugh I just don't care. Imagine finally not having Windows make you install this and that. I call this freedom.

Same but I had to reinstall XP every month because it kept breaking itself. I even had a .rar file with a clean install of XP to speed things up (I'd delete C:\Windows and swap it in).

Same, in a few years all your favorite apps will drop support for 10 and you will need to either need to give into M$ or install Linux.

you clearly never used a mac if you think winblows is bad when it comes to setup
>need a stable os that just needs to run internet browser and microsoft word >install w11 enterprise iot ltsc >supposedly professional-grade no bullshit dependable system >no ms store >no online account >suddenly wifi stops working >right click>diagnose network problems >"cant run diagnostics without ms store installed"
LMAO what a joke

my own fault for buying a laptop with intel e cores. would've stayed with w10 ltsc (which was also piece of shit, but it didnt stink as bad as w11)
