Incorrect
> Expect absurd prices for ddr6.
All new iteration of a DDR generation always starts off expensive until inventory builds up.
> But hurr durr you can use 4 sticks now like you couldn't with ddr5.
You can use 4xUDIMMs with DDR5. You just have to tune-down clockspeed and relax timings. This is not new. You always have to make a trade for clockspeed/relax timing if you want to drive more modules.

Wrong, Blackwell is faster than Ada Lovelace but not by a large amount and most of the performance gain is just increasing the boost speed = higher power consumption. It is becuase Blackwell is stuck on the same node as Ada Lovelace. Blackwell is nothing more than a refined Ada Lovelace. It is Pascal minus the gains from a node shrink.

5090 is massive overkill for the vast majority of gaming needs. It is literately just a gimped workstation-class SKU sold to min-max types with deep pockets. 5090 is a "Not Titan" and only exists for halo effect. 5080, 5070Ti and RX 9070 are darn close for good number of use cases without spending as much (IMO, they are still overpriced)

it is useful, it runs more modern games better, for example you can use it to run your game + frame gen and get that perfect 60 fps or 144 fps at 4k at max settings. but for 3000, its a conspiracy at that point. and the thing is you dont really need it when getting a bit subpar performance and graphics settings turned down a bit. its just not worth it to spend that much vital cash thats needed for other more important things like rent and food.
