TL;DR: Cabrice's Ice Pad introduces advanced carbon nanotube technology to PC gaming, replacing traditional thermal paste with a durable, maintenance-free cooling solution. Offering exceptional 200 W/mK thermal conductivity, it eliminates hotspots, prevents thermal throttling, and ensures quieter, stable gaming performance without reapplication or mess.

its supposed to be 5% better than ptm7950. not that you would notice the difference. real question is the price since its hard to compete with aliexpress.

>5% better
So still no silent powerful computers. :(

Trying to convince people they need to service their thermal paste is nonsense. Oh no I've lost 2C of cooling after 7 years.

I had some issues with my 2500k throttling after 7 years of running it overclocked with the stock cooler. Still, cost about 2 bucks to fix.

retard
Paste drying up and CPUs running 10-30 degrees hotter than they should is common, also resulting in heatsink fans roaring far more than necessary.

>carbon nanotube
Sounds interesting but i bet it's electrically conductive. Which means ptm7950 still is the best alternative to thermal paste.

some peeps spend way too much thinking about fucking thermal paste of all things
>replace paste with generic stuff once in 5 years and ur done

wow.

Virtually no one ever replaces, or even knows that TIM exists at all. Only niche enthusiasts have ever heard of it. This is an upsell for system builders, its the only market other than niche enthusiasts.

at most they'll start using chinese phase change material that costs 2โ‚ฌ per liter

let me guess it costs like 200$ per pad
the problem with these interface materials is that it's more economic to bump your CPU specs which can easily fit into the 200$ mark and get cheap thermal interface

30C hotter is common because you don't repaste your CPU cooler...

Isn't this the same thing as the Kryosheets that have been around a while? Not that they're bad; personally I've used them for my last couple of builds and really like them, but they're not new.

Looks like it's currently only available in cyberpowerpc prebuilts, and is a $10 upgrade

This is carbon nanotubes instead of just graphene. Probably doesn't actually makes a noticeable difference though.

People use some real garbage paste that is literally designed to degrade in less than a year so they buy more.

>True highest performance that improves with time, like a well-aged wine.
If theyโ€™re using this kind of rhetoric, this shit is DOA and doesnโ€™t work much better than regular thermal paste.

My computational needs do not require bleeding-edge nanotechnology to cool my processor, thermal paste does just fine. Go to reddit if you want consoomer cattle.

it's electrically conductive right? What's makes this different to thermal grizzly's carbonaut?

>thermal grizzly's carbonaut
That carbon fiber. This is carbon nanotubes, which if they're aligned should be theoretically more thermally conductive than carbon fiber.
