There's no logic there. Just guessing based on projected probabilities, and the results sometimes come out real wonky. It's ChatPCP.
More formally, there's a vastly over-fitted manifold (in a high-dimensional abstract space, so don't think too hard what it looks like) that models text made by humans. It's a topologically smooth manifold, which makes it unable to truly represent negation, and you don't get very far in logic without that. Fixing the manifold shape requires a totally different training algorithm, one that doesn't assume that it's using a differentiable space, and that requires both a major breakthrough and a lot of investment (to scale the new thing up). For commercial reasons, this is currently unlikely from anyone deeply invested in standard GPU-based technologies.
