is there a specific reason why you won't switch to linux and keep using windows?
for me personally ive been using the same windows install/account since windows 98 and have just upgraded parts and moved files to newer better faster hdd's/ssd's/nvme's

Windows requires you either run software or fuck around with the registry to achieve a basic state that isn’t full of spying bullshit. Hell, even creating a non-Microsoft account requires you use a terminal and run random commands. It’s just as tinkertranny-ish as Linux at this point.

I switched like 8 years ago, main reason not to do so was Photoshop working like shit under Wine back then. I mean, I still can't run it. I use Photopea after ditching trannygimp. No decent alternative. No, krita is shit. Yes, blender is shit too.
