What is the cause of technology gaslighting?

Some people are selected by the universe to be unsuccessful. I'm sorry if that's the case for you too. It's not a technology issue, as I've seen it happening many times in different aspects of life. You want to do something and devote a lot of care, time and effort to it and it still goes to shit, or requires ridiculous amounts of extra effort not to. Then you look around and literally everyone who's doing the same thing accomplishes it with almost zero effort and cannot fathom how you've had so much trouble with it, because all the problems, setbacks and obstacles that you had to face simply did not manifest with them.
I don't know what the exact cause is, I have ruminated on this for more than a decade and the best explanation I've come up with is that reality is like a seesaw, for every person that rises up and succeeds, someone else has to sink down and rot.
Some people just exist as some sort of karmic counterweight for others to succeed, it seems.

>build a PC
>friend's less powerful PC is more stable
I bet we can have the same exact build, but my PC will always be less stable then yours

Let's test this theory.
Buy two sets of PC parts and send one set to me.

Hardware matters.
