STATE CENSORSHIP
What's /g/ opinion on all this coordenated attempt to censor the internet happening in the EU, Brazil and even the US previously?

Where will they stop? Can we realistically fight if multiple governments coordinate to do everything in their power to monitor and censor us?

It's not just your mainstream social media, they are pushing for CHAT CONTROL. That's next level bullshit.

So, what are our moves? Do you guys think we can break their ID shit with AI tools, VPNs, bots, etc.?

A new internet? Are projects like I2P and Freenet something to take seriously now?

Please, let's have a serious discussion about this. It's one thing to have glowie mods in your favorite singaporean dances imageboard, and it's another to have (((agents))) breathing down your neck while you message your real, 3D, girlfriend.

Normies cannot cope with free speech, this is a matter of time
Evading these measures is a skill issue
stop trying to save the normals, they are not meant to make it
"and find solace in patience and prayer"

Nothing of this matters because it's already being tried in China for multiple years and the cattle are completely fine with being controlled.
They have a very good leash on their cattle, so the only way to truly fight against them is to turn the cattle against them, and that is only ever done through emotion. Memes have been the most effective tool against them so far, but there are better tools than just that I theorize.
The question shouldn't be "how to live alternatively to normies", the question should be "how to control normies for your own gain".

>What's /g/ opinion on all this coordenated attempt to censor the internet happening in the EU, Brazil and even the US previously?
they lost the narrative
just like in 2015-2017
except now they woke up normgroids with their heavy handed measures

>Where will they stop?
wherever they will find meaningful opposition. stadard globohomo MO
>Can we realistically fight if multiple governments coordinate to do everything in their power to monitor and censor us?
you cant wiretap a camel.
people will just stop using digital communication to organize
even the chink ccp are beholden to the nation. in worst case scenario theyre gonna have a full blown revolt

>That's next level bullshit.
already in place, they just want to legalize that shit so they can prosecute you for non conformist speech
PRISM is supposed to have the capabilities to surveil all of global communications since 2008 if memory serves

>glowie mods
thats a gross oversimplification
on several levels, not only mods are not a monolithic entity, but even globohomo isnt

ur a visitor, arent you?
long term users of this board would have known about prism, for instance
'just curious. feel free to ignore the last question

someone, someday, will find a way around this shit
then they'll patch it, and then he will find another way and they will patch it again etc...

Yeah, but each time the barrier to entry to enjoy the internet we love becomes more difficult and it already stopped being about sharing our interests and hobbies with the world.

Each time complexity is added to using the internet freely, it becomes less possible to use it as anything but a tool to generate capital for corporations.

Soon, I'll only want to go play with rocks in the desert, and maybe everything will reset.

No one will get around it. It's all converging on device-level controls. There will be no hacks or whatever.

The best case scenario is:
- You have to have your goydevice for important stuff like email, messaging, etc.
- They still allow stuff like Linux to use the internet, but you just won't be able to use anything that requires ID verification.

Stop voting for people that are modern leftist. Even the average normie in burgerland saw this and outright rejected it, the party that pushed that shit is at an all time low approval and it's supporters are mocked because the system they used to push this shit is effectively dismantled.
Crazy how all of this is pushed by far left entities

In the US it's a mixed bag. There's terrible shit in flight this year from both parties. At the federal level, the device level stuff came from Republicans. But in California, the device level bill came from Democrats.

zoom zoom. Snowden told you this was happening in 2013 and has been going on since the internet become popular. if you're aged under 20 they already know every single thing you've ever said, done, downloaded, jacked off too, everything.

The nearest thing we had was OWS and they turned up the wokeshit to ensure that the minds of the young are far too poisoned to ever organize like that again for anything.

how to beat chat censorship:
go outside and meet your real friends.
if all your "friends" are online they you dont actually have any friends
