These shit are good if they're highly specialized to fill a specific need, like something built for always connected satnav, or that modified pc our engineer had that had metal sample analysis back when I worked at apex mining co.

I have a "cyberdeck". It has one job: display electrical waveforms. It's called an "oscilloscope", it weighs damn near 50 fucking pounds and somehow manages to knock over or damage at least 1 thing every time i carry it to a job. It even has a monochrome CRT, manual focus too! Heckin sovl!

I hate this piece of shit boat anchor oscilloscope and i hate you piece of shit retroomers romanticizing shoulder-fucker """portable""" electronics like it.
