Fuck GNOME
Why is the GNOME calculator so fucking massive? This is the SMALLEST it can go. What's the use case for it being so fucking big with no option to take up less space? The Windows calculator, even in its scientific mode, is half the size of GNOME's basic calculator, LET ALONE the GNOME scientific calculator which is just a big dirty whore.

Are GNOMEcunts ever going to stop being fucking retarded, or is "Please don't them our apps", "Please don't resize our windows", "Please don't try to have control over your PC" the mantra?

The adwaita design guidelines has absurd requirements for bolding and padding. It's obnoxious when trying to get a lot of work done and the only real power user software I know of that uses Adwaita is some kind of synthesizer and it blatantly violates the padding guidelines. With that said, a lot of UX devs seem to still be designing for 640x480 so pick your poison.

This is not a GNOME thing specifically. All modern UI design is like this.

Why would I want to type commands into a terminal instead of just using a calculator app?

Reminder that Mint forked libadwaita to add theming back in. You can finally enjoy GNOME apps without obese widgets

No, you can't. At best you can change the "accent color," if and only if the dev lets you (which they don't, because they're the same people behind don't theme my app). Everything else is completely broken. I don't know what happened to the mint devs in the past year but they've completely lost it making Cinnamon look like GNOME 3 and sperging out about politics in a country none of them live in.
