It's funny, you are doing the same thing I did in 2002;
Your PSU is going to blow up in some years
(note: those can take redundant PSUs) when you try to turn it on again.

After 20 years, with 10 years of being off, when my friend and I turned it on again, the PSU blew up.

Also you are doing this without the benifit of:
1) Pax/Grsecurity
Why make a linux server without that?
2) No anti-feminists like Hans Reiser in the kernel.
3) people saying "freetards" are not allowed to contribute to the linux kernel.

When I made my server
ALL linux code was "freetard" code.
There were NO feminists.
There was freedom of speech.

These people stole all this from us.
RMS will not do anything.

I'm dissed by people here saying "LOL U R WRONG: EVEN RMS DOESNT THINK GRSECURITY IS VIOLATING GPL!!"
etc.

You know Linux used to be known as the Hacker OS.
Now people like >>106272214 brag that there is no pre2000 code in linux anymore.
That hackers aren't allowed to contribute anymore.

We just have to kill these people.
And we have to torture linus for giving our thing over to them.
He is a traitor.

Back in 2012 or 2013 I did this with 120mm fans. I was feeling the first rush of money from tech employment, fell for the LED meme, and replaced all of my fans. I didn't want to just get rid of the pile of old fans, and my secondary machine was an mATX system in a case that was posts and panels arranged almost as a perfect cube. I could take off the panels and fit a 2x2 square of fans on each side, with some gaffer tape to seal the gaps.
I had to power them from an external AC-DC adapter, because when every goddamn surface is a fan, and you have 24 fans worth of cables, it's fucking impossible to keep the cables from falling into fans if you wire them up internally.

If I recall, it was configured as front + sides + bottom intake, top and back exhaust.
There was a weird mix of fan RPMs and I don't remember how I tried to balance it but I did try. I kept it that way for a month for the lulz. It definitely delivered cooler temps, but it sounded awful and there is no way it was worth the extra 30W idle power (or more when you factor in the awful efficiency of a cheap AC adapter).

I've always thought about just getting a radiator for a truck and using a quiet fish tank pump to just pump coolant through the PC and it. Put the radiator on a 45 so air can pass through the fins naturally and it would likely be more than enough to keep the machine cool for days. Never went past the idea stage since air cooled has always just worked well enough for me.
