I just download the appimages to a dir (usually ~/.local/appimages, no renaming) and symlink them to ~/.local/bin with a short-name for convenience.
That way I'll have them always at hand on my cozy dmenu custom laucher

If Linux ecosystem was not controlled by corporations we would have "linux exe" normalized long time ago but of course everything is sabotaged to be at best mediocre and barely usable.

I couldn't make it mpre than a minute into that video, the cringe was too much. I don't understand why SO MANY random people with: no personality and nothing of value to contribute insist on making youtube channels.
