I have a bug where my phone can't finish any file download, be it through an app or a browser. I had this issue like 2 years ago but it randomly fixed itself somehow.

Call recording was removed a while ago also you could simply turn on screen record and capture the conversation and screen in one go but now only your voice gets recorded

And now, if you screenshot a whatsapp contact, it just captures it as black screen.

What's funny is it's easily bypassed if you use web.whatsapp.com on pc and use game bar to capture the screen. But call recording being removed is problem for me since anything indirect like recorder on 3.5mm port is inadmissible/impossible to prove in court.

I'm going to watch the Pixel release event on the 20th of August, but I'm not sure if I'm going to pull the trigger and go for a Pixel 10 Pro XL or Fold. The main reason is the SOC. If you read any news articles, you'll notice the trend that has been ongoing since the Pixel 6; they all claim a Google fabricated Tensor chip will be amazing when the next chip is released. The G1 was underpowered compared to the competition but things would improve when Google find their stride with the G2. The G2 is underpowered but things will improve with the G3. The G3 is underpowered and a bit of a battery hog but things will improve with the G4. The G4 can't match a Snapdragon, Bionic or even a MediaTek chipset but the G5 will be the upgrade that will match other flagship SOCs. Now that the G5 is due to be released, the press are already claiming that the chip probably won't match the latest and greatest from Snapdragon or Apple, but because Google have moved from Samsung to TSMC fabrication, the next G6 will be amazing! Yes, Google are going down the highly optimised route with features that make the Pixel line standout but just because it has AI camera chops that mildly impress the normal folk, doesn't make it enticing enough for me. Google are starting to lock things down with Android 16 and this iteration will be the beginning of Android becoming closed source, something which will sound the death knell for AOSP and the likes of LOS or GraphmemeOS.
