>come back to /g/ for the first time since 2016
>remember how it was just a bunch of retards shilling for Intel, Nvidia, and Richard Stallmann
>Intel is circling the drain and are getting cucked out of the CPU market by AMD while the US Gov is burning the new CEO at the stake in a CCP McCarthy trial
>Nvidia is still massively overpriced for comically marginal gains and now has tunnel vision for "muh AI", while all you use it for is 4chan and Unreal Engine slop
>Stallmann has faded even further into obscurity and systemd has won
>Thinkpads are an even more pale shadow of their former selves
>/g/ has not changed at all
>you still haven't finished SICP

Explain yourselves.

/g/ is temporary, like a form of limbo for people who haven't ascended yet.
/g/ has changed, but only because the people who stay the same left. they got mostly replaced by the same zoomers, it's a never ending cycle of braindamage.
thanks but i'll stick to my librebooted X200 until the end of time, or until RISC-V laptops with good build quality and actual acpi become a thing.

don't forget that every thread is just a general, and discussing how 4chan works gets you banned.

like right fucking now we had a thread discussing how to get around the "we banned your IP range because some guy was spamming from it" problem, where browser fingerprinting would allow admins to ben people more selectively without axing entire IP ranges. By the time I wrote my reply, the thread was gone.
/g/ isn't a technology board, it's a consumer shilling board.
