I tried MVAdapter and used one of their workflows for multi-views from an image, but for some reason, I can only use the vanilla SDXL model to generate them, I get an error with any SDXL model that isn't the vanilla one.

The community does not download models based on how good they are for a particular purpose. We know what the lora settings are for, but there are no 'best overall settings', it depends on what you concept train, how many images you train, the resolution you train at, the model you train against, which may or may not have good knowledge already of what you train, which has massive effect on learning speed etc

Everyone wishes there was a 'best lora settings' button, but there isn't, here's hoping one day there will be

Why is there such a noticeable quality difference i ngens between forge and confy? I reinstalled reforge again, and with same/equivalent command line args, samplers and seeds you can see clear differences i ngens. Forge/reforge gens seem to have better overall composition and anatomy, whereas comfy gens seem sharper and have better finer details.

There's only one method to use really, pick a set of images, preferable the type of stuff you are most likely to be training longterm, and then to small A - B tests where you just change one parameter at a time.

Start with the most important ones, like LR unless you're using a self-adaptive optimizer like Prodigy. Do this on a relatively small training set, because you will be training it many times.

Is animatediff still good or has been updated?

I remember I was able to run it on my PC but wonder if there was still developments on it.

If you increase network size, you increase the amount of the underlying model your lora will affect, this makes the file larger and makes it use more vram both when training and during inference.

If you are training a single concept and don't have like 500+ images, you will most likely be fine with rank 16, and unless you are training many really large images ~1024+ there's no point of going over rank 32 in my experience.

Leave the alpha parameter alone, it's like a LR multiplier and it just adds more pointless complexity, just increase / decrease the LR until you find a good setting for the Rank you are using.

If this was an exact science there would be no parameters to change, it's not, so you'll have to try stuff to see what works for your training subject. You can't even claim some settings works for 'anime', because anime can differ greatly in how it looks from show to show, era to era, and if the base model you use has trained a lot on a certain style of anime, it will pick that up fast, if it hasn't it will be slow and probably need a higher LR. It's a headache but that's where it's at.

I have ascended to not using the light LoRA at all on the high pass and just scheduling the cfg to turn off at x steps. The whole switching samplers loading and unloading this was taking way too much time.

I followed the rentry guide for installing Wan2.2 and got this error message

I looked through past threads and google and it seems like it's an issue with Triton not working on 3090s and ended up fixing it by disabling the "WanVideo Torch Compile Settings" node in the workflow. After disabling, I was able to gen a video in a couple minutes.
I'm assuming these settings help with speeding up the gen time though, so are there any workarounds for getting that node to work?

For any anons tired of Comfy's spaghetti or A1111's bugs, you should unironically check out Invoke.
The free version is the full package. The paid shit is just for cloud API nodes, accounts, and support nobody needs. You get all the same UI features for free.
Its canvas for inpainting outpainting is legitimately the best of any UI, hands down. It works like Photoshop with a bunch of smart masking tools that just work, It's based as fuck.
The node interface is also way cleaner and more understandable than Comfy and A1111. Its only real flaw is that you can't drag and drop an image to load the workflow, you have to import the json.
If it had the features mentioned in >>106285603, it would be the undisputed king and I'd drop everything else, because it's an UI that was thinking to the AI artist, no the tech nerd.
