Torrent trackers, especially movie ones should really have better trump rules and organization. I was searching for a specific old movie and most "high tier" trackers had remux from a 8 year old BD instead of the newer one from 2024 which is objectively better. A rare case where the encode was better than the Remux and the encode could only be found on HUNO and some lower tier trackers + usenet.

I guess the reverse proxy runs on the same machine, the torrent client connects to the proxy (so it's all "network" traffic that doesn't leave the machine) which forwards it to the tracker as one secured TCP stream with many HTTP announces.
