A bit too late for it now, but removing /pol/ like moot promised would've helped. It just ate most of this site over the years. I don't think much can be done at this point since any direct action would just result in a massive melty by the tourists that would probably ruin this site. Best idea I can think of is moving /pol/ to a separate site and then having jannies actually enforce rules on 4chan.
Since this is the general complaint thread, I have to say that I don't see the purpose of allowing tripfagging anymore. It's almost exclusively used by schizos and attentionwhores nowadays which just causes problems on smaller boards.
