A dedicated FTP client for android that supports SFTP. andFTP is no longer supported and doesn't work with some SFTP setups.

Technically, apps exist that can do this. However they are either too complicated/bloated, requiring a ton of manual setup and workarounds (file manager pro, etc), OR they have horrific branding for an SFTP client (Terminus).

Just make something like FileZilla, that is a specialized FTP/SFTP client and have "FTP" in the app name somewhere and everyone will go to you when they need an FTP client for their phone. Hell, FileZilla is open-source, so you could just fork it to work on Android devices. andFTP had 5 million downloads on the Android app store, so slap in some ads and/or a $1 ad-free version and you're good to go.
